Recently the WHO has included Burnout in the new International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11), defining the syndrome not as a disease in its own right, but as an occupational phenomenon. The causes are to be found in the situations of large gap between the demands of the work environment and the worker's own resources, this consumes the person's Energy and Enthusiasm. It is a problem of the person with the work environment in which he/she operates.
