L’apparato respiratorio è direttamente collegato all’ambiente esterno pertanto è particolarmente esposto agli insulti esterni quali: smog, polvere e fumi delle industrie. The respiratory system is the set of organs that allows the exchange of gases between the blood and the external environment, particularly the introduction of oxygen, which is essential for aerobic metabolism, and the elimination of carbon dioxide, a residue of many chemical reactions. The respiratory system is directly connected to the external environment therefore it is particularly exposed to external insults such as: smog, dust and fumes from industries. Among the most frequent disorders we find chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It includes various alterations of the airways (of the bronchi and lungs), which cause partial airway obstruction, that is, persistent reduction of airflow (bronchial obstruction).

Lung age assessment is carried out with the use of a flowmeter capable of measuring parameters such as: values of FEV1 (volume of air exhaled during the first second), FEV6 (volume of air exhaled at the sixth second) and the percentage ratio FEV1/ FEV6. The test also provides the obstruction index, classification of COPD present, and lung age. Depending on the obstruction index and classification obtained, indications are given as to the need for more in-depth examinations, such as spirometry. Being able to detect COPD in individuals without respiratory symptoms could improve the effectiveness of care during treatment.

The main factors for caries risk assessment are predisposition (saliva, family history, fluoride, oral hygiene), presence of acidogenic bacteria, and type of diet (carbohydrates). Caries risk assessment allows preventive measures to be put in place in high-risk patients and delay the time for intervention in low-risk patients.<g id="2"/>The check-up assesses caries history, oral health status, saliva characteristics (salivary flow and buffering power), degree of fluoridation, and dietary habits. The client who plans to perform the Oral Check, must present at least 1 hour fasted; otherwise, he/she will not be able to perform the second part of the check (pH check, salivary flow, and saliva buffering capacity) and must wait at least 1 hour before undergoing the examination. The final report will provide the client with indications of: caries susceptibility based on 'processing of data from the risk factor questionnaire; indicators of susceptibility related to saliva acidity, buffering power, and salivary flow amount.<g id="3"/> The customized report includes good dental hygiene practices and information useful in maintaining good oral health and preventing caries.

This affects older age groups and more males than females, affects all populations, but is greater in industrialized countries than in developing countriesThe lifestyle of the Western population has changed, in particular for nutrition there is an increase in the quantity of food intake with a sharp reduction in the quality of food consumed, in addition, the level of sedentariness is increasing. These factors generate a greater predisposition to overweight, obesity and cardiovascular disease and, no less common, a greater tendency to develop aesthetic problems (cellulite, varicose veins, stretch marks, sagging skin) and a reduction in muscle tone. Tonicity analysis allows us to get a general picture of the body's well-being, since as the years go by, muscles and skin become less elastic, thius is probably due to the role of environmental pollution in the development of COPDleading to a loss of tone. Body Check also allows us to distinguish the biotype into android (typical male) and gynoid (typical female). It is known that the android biotype is more associated with a predisposition to develop cardio-metabolic problems.
